Ellis Jones is well placed to steer RADA’s new policy of making the Academy’s expertise more widely available, having been Head of Acting for 10 years (1993-2003) and Vice Principal for 5 years from 1998.

An acting career over some 30 years ranged from Shakespeare to television sitcom, plus many productions as a director in London and the regions, most recently final-year productions at RADA, including Journey’s End, Hobson’s Choice, Daisy Pulls it Off and A Chorus of Disapproval.

Ellis produces and directs the RADA projects on board the QM2 for the Cunard Shipping Line, is lead consultant for a number of RADA Enterprises collaborations in the field of educational drama, and directs one-off performance projects for corporate clients, such as a recent showcase for Buro 4 Project Management at BAFTA.

He is the author of Teach Yourself Acting published in 1998 by Hodder & Stoughton.
