If you need to train several employees or a team in your company or organisation, you can book one of our “in-house” courses. We will take a detailed brief of your particular objectives and either provide a standard course or tailor a programme accordingly (note; some development charges may be incurred) We can run a course at your offices, or at a suitable venue, booked by yourself or we can source the venue and catering for you.
We evaluate the course and report back to you with the results of our post-course questionnaire. Normally a course will run over one or two days, however, some companies and organisations also choose shorter workshops as part of existing training programmes or events or they may even book a series of evening or early morning breakfast sessions for their team.
The following public courses are available as in-house training:

Personal Impact and Media Training
Intensive one or two-day course
During this course you will learn to maximise your personal impact and understand the workings of the modern media, what journalists will ask of you and learn how to communicate more effectively during interviews or encounters with the media.
The sessions will examine your physical and vocal presence and help you become a powerful, confident advocate for your organisation. You will receive training in how to speak to the media whether it be in print, on the radio or television and gain a better understanding of the interview process. Anyone who speaks on behalf of their organisation can benefit from this course. It is practical throughout, and you’ll immediately be able to see how you perform on video as your practice presentations and interviews will be filmed.
Forum Theatre
Forum Theatre is innovative and creative training where a RADA in Busines facilitator and actors work directly with your staff to change negative behaviour patterns and solve complex workplace challenges – from bullying and absenteeism to improving customer service. It is interactive, informative, exciting, and tailored to your particular needs. Forum Theatre is effective for training for as few as ten or as many as a hundred people.
First, we work with you to understand the particular issues you want to address, and we write a scenario, or story, that best depicts them. This require about one month to prepare, then on delivery day, our actors perform the story in front of your staff. The facilitator and your staff discuss the themes that arise and brainstorm how best to make improvements. Then the actors re-perform the story, but this time our tutor facilitates as your staff interject to suggest how the actors could change their behaviour for the better. Your staff influence the direction of the theatre and the issues portrayed, creating solutions, shaping their own learning and taking ownership of the outcome. They discuss and debate issues in a controlled environment and see the results of their suggestions immediately. The forum theatre can also be complimented with break out workshops to consolidate the learning.
Communication Skills Breakfast Club
A dramatic way to develop your communication skills and energise yourself before work!
Using theatre-based exercises our experienced tutors will enable you to develop your expertise while raising your energy level for the coming day. This lively club will meet every other week for a course of practical workshops focusing on particular communication or presentation skills along with breakfast! Develop your skills in bite-size chunks, with time to practice the techniques you’ve learned in between the sessions. The workshops will focus on breathing, body language, posture, articulation, relaxation, dealing with nerves, and bringing language to life.
Effective Networking
Networking is an increasingly important way of building and retaining a client base, and this workshop helps you maximise your personal impact, build rapport and develop new relationships – basic skills required for any effective networker.
In practical sessions you’ll role play networking situations to show you the difference that positive personal presentation can make and discuss the factors that can cause networking to be less successful. The sessions will also explore how to get the finer details right, from, introducing yourself and making a good first impression, to confidently yet tactfully moving from one person or group to another.
Effective Bid Presentation
Many organisations have to take part in competitive pitches in order to win new business, so the delivery of their presentations must be of the highest quality. An effective pitch is all about making a great first impression, grabbing the client’s interest and speaking with authority, credibility, passion and spontaneity.
Our training will give you the best chance of success. We will work with you to structure your presentation, refine your messages and rehearse your delivery – making your pitch as impressive as possible. Our tutors can either work with you one-to-one, or rehearse the presentation with your whole pitch team.
Communicating with Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence has a vital role in effective communication. By becoming more aware of our own emotions and those of colleagues, we are better able to guide our thoughts and feelings, manage situations and influence others. The sessions use role play, group exercises, reflection and discussion to help you learn practical ways to develop emotional intelligence. This will enable you to enhance your impact, build rapport with other people and become a more effective communicator.
Body of Influence
Successful communication not only involves planning what we say but how we say it and how posture and body language can affect your overall impact. By exploring physicality, poise and presence, this course will help you change habitual and restrictive patterns of behaviour.
The training is a physical-based workshop where you will be encouraged to address habits which may be inhibiting your communication style and personal presentation. During the movement exercises you will explore how your body and posture influence impact and the sessions will help you become a more expressive and confident communicator.
